1. CEI Bois Newsletter on "Lobby Focus" At the recently held meeting of the FEFPEB executive committee mrs Silvia Melegari, secretary general of CEI Bois, gave a presentation on the ambitions of the umbrella federation of the European Woodworking Industries in the field of advocacy and lobby.

2. EUDR / EU Deforestation Regulation update Feedback from the 1st Task Force meeting CEI Bois / OES held on 30 October 2023, with FEFPEB participation from some EU countries.
Look at the presentation that was used at this meeting to have a short update.
Following this meeting FEFPEB could inform CEI Bois on three companies that are prepared to be involved in the highly important pilot testing of the Information System under EUDR. PGS (France), Foresco (Belgium) and PKF/Post (the Netherlands) are proposed and taken on board in the process. It is about the impact on our wooden pallet and packaging industry, much stronger as it seems than the current EUTR. We keep you informed. |
