Looking back on the 70th FEFPEB congress, 28 - 30 September, Firenze
It was a great pleasure to welcome the FEFPEB membership to the full-scale congress in Firenze, which took place from 28 to 30 September. This year’s congress was hosted by our dear friends from Assoimballaggi. Our Italian friends made us feel most welcome in Italy.
The FEFPEB Congress is the most important international event in the wood packaging industry. The congress registered over 260 participants from all over Europe, USA, Canada, Brazil, China, Australia, 23 sponsor companies and 10 international speakers on the day of the conference.
The event included a visit to several Tuscan companies in the sector, an international conference on wood and sustainability and a gala dinner at Palazzo Borghese at the end of the congress. The headquarters of the congress were located in the excellent Hotel Baglione.
